The hotel is set in a charming, peaceful location close to the city center and is very well-kept.

The location is wonderful, the staff is efficient. It is located next door to restaurants and pubs. The a la carte restaurant in the hotel is good for breakfast.

The proximity to the old town - walking distance approx. 20 minutes, rooms facing the garden and therefore relatively quiet despite the city area.

Breakfast room a bit cramped for the number of people. One sits very close to the neighbouring table.

Magnificent and wonderful location with incredibly beautiful views just off public transport and the cliff top. Nicely furnished, good-sized room with a private bathroom, hairdryer, and bath sheets.

The hotel has very beautiful and well-kept green areas with many flowers. A beautiful pool complex is surrounded by palm trees and other exotic plants. Our room had a view of the lake, was big 

The à la carte restaurant is enjoyable and having a selection of eggs and meats for breakfast is a nice addition.

The rooms were well-appointed. The pool was very clean.- Amazing friendly and efficient staff from cleaners to management.- The breakfast was savoury and had plenty of meals.- The location was good and lovely 

The food and staff etc were very good. Very nice pool. We will choose the place for future trips if we go to Funchal. A small kitchen available.

Very quick check-in, parking on site. Great-sized and stylish units and amazing friendly staff from cleaners to management. Great eggs and meats to every taste. Very very good building, good and lovely location just 

The breakfast offered a variety of delicious food options, such as fresh bread, pastries, cheese, meats. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed.- The location of the hotel is picturesque and peaceful, making it easy to access the town center.- The interior

Helpful staff, location - proximity to dowtown

Overall the hotel was quite good. If I had a choice I would definitely prefer not to stay in the main building: it lacked some of the character of smaller villas and it was not really quiet due to live music in the winter garden till 10-11 p.m.
